The 2021 Miami International GuitART Festival presents a tribute concert for the legendary guitarist Julian Bream (1933-2020) who was a towering figure in the history of guitar and pioneered new music for guitar by commissioning and collaborating with major composers of the 20th century. He died on August 14, 2020. This tribute concert features some of the works written for and premiered by Julian Bream.

The program includes current and past performances of the MIGF artists. Each piece will be introduced with comments by the renowned composer and scholar Stephen Goss who was a friend of Julian Bream:
