The 2024 Miami International GuitART Festival presents virtuoso mandolin and bandola player Saul Vera, guitar and cuatro player Hector Molina, and singer and cuatro player Luciana Kube in concert, performing a program of  traditional Latin American music.

This program is a selection of the Folk repertoire traditionally for strings performed in South America in diverse formats like solo, duo, and trio. The textures and combinations of this trip to Colombia, Venezuela, and the Southern Cone (with incredible sounds from Argentina, Peru and Brazil) will flow showing a great diversity of rhythms from bambuco, choro or joropo to the chacarera, some ancient forms of expression mingle with a more modern interpretation perspective of these three versatile artists.

This concert is co-sponsored by the Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs.
