The duo of Maestro Maurizio Mastrini, one of the most original and internationally acclaimed pianists and composers, and guitarist Sandro Lazzeri, a refined interpreter on the European concert scene, is one of the most evocative musical experiences on the contemporary music scene.
Maurizio Mastrini, the “wild heart” of contemporary classical music, brings to his concerts all the expressive power and uniqueness of his compositions, the fruit of relentless, visionary, and profound research. Considered a unique phenomenon somewhere between genius and creative madness, he has enchanted audiences worldwide with over 860 international concerts and millions of digital streams. His works—intense, mathematical, and emotional—unite tradition and modernity, blending minimalism, classicism, and experimentation. Mastrini lives and composes immersed in the nature of Umbria, which inspires his authentic music, far removed from convention and imbued with spirituality.
Sandro Lazzeri, a guitarist of great sensitivity, with a career rich in international collaborations and world premieres, complements the Maestro with an elegant and profound touch. With studies under his belt with classical guitar giants and decades of experience in ensembles and orchestras, Lazzeri brings to the duo a refined sound and a vast repertoire, ranging from baroque to contemporary.
