The Miami International GuitART Festival presents a new guitar concerto commissioned from the award-winning composer Carlos Rafael Rivera to be premiered in the 2018 MIGF. Each movement of the concerto is dedicated to a great guitarist: Marcin Dylla, Denis Azabagic, and Rene Izquierdo. The FIU Symphony Orchestra, directed by maestro Javier Jose Mendoza, will perform the Concierto a Tres with soloists Marcin Dylla (Poland), Rene Izquierdo (Cuba/USA), and Iliana Matos (Cuba/Canada), whom will also perform other solo and duo works.
