LUTHIERS EXPO

The Miami International GuitART Festival welcomes luthiers to register in virtual and/or in-person modality for the 2022 MIGF Luthiers Expo. Luthiers and guitar shops will be able to present their promo videos in the Virtual Luthiers Expo during the festival. They will also present their guitars, music, and other related products in person during the second weekend of festival. Our participants will have a chance to meet their future luthiers, try their excellent hand-built guitars, and even buy one! We hope to meet and host many talented luthiers and music vendors in our festival. The promo videos can be prepared with image and video selections, showcasing their workshops and guitars at various stages of construction and demonstrating their guitars performed privately or in concert. The luthiers can also join the live chat with audiences during the broadcast on February 20.

Registration information for virtual luthiers expo:

  • The Virtual Luthiers Expo will be broadcast in the MIGF YouTube channel on February 20, 2022.
  • Video submission deadline is February 1, 2022.
  • Registration fees are
    • $80 for a 5-minute video to broadcast in the Virtual Luthiers Expo on February 20, 2022.
    • $100 for a 10-minute video to broadcast in the Virtual Luthiers Expo on February 20, 2022.
    • $100 for a 30-second video to broadcast before the beginning of all virtual festival events from February 19-27, 2022.
    • $130 for a 5-minute video to broadcast in the Virtual Luthiers Expo and a 30-second video to broadcast before the beginning of all virtual festival events from February 19-27, 2022.
    • $150 for a 10-minute video to broadcast in the Virtual Luthiers Expo and a 30-second video to broadcast before the beginning of all virtual festival events from February 19-27, 2022.

  • Space is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis upon processing of payment.
  • After the registration and payment, your name listing and website link will be placed on the MIGF website.

Registration information for in-person luthiers expo:

  • The Luthiers Expo will be held in the Instrumental Hall of the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center in February 26-27, 2022 from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
  • Space reservation deadline is February 10, 2022. Registration form, contract, and payment must all be received by this date.
  • Registration for a table ($250) will give luthiers/vendors a booth at the Luthiers Expo as well as participation in the virtual luthiers expo with 10-minute and 30-second videos (if videos are submitted by February 1, 2022). This includes space for your instruments and other merchandise, a full standard banquet table (6’L x 30″W), playing space for prospective buyers, and one Festival Pass to attend all festival events.
  • Optional assistant passes may be purchased at $50 each, which also includes one Festival Pass to attend all festival events.
  • To register and reserve your booth and assistant pass, please contact the festival director via Contact Form.
  • Space is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis upon processing of payment.
  • After the registration and payment, your table space will be confirmed and your name listing and website link will be placed on the MIGF website, as well as in the 2022 Festival Program Book (if materials are submitted by February 1, 2022).
